Gabe Calvi in the News
It's always exciting to see friends and colleagues in the news. And that's especially true when it is someone that is just flat out AWESOME. Such is the case for Gabe Calvi, who is highlighted in today's Free Press for his volunteerism. Congratulations Gabe, and thank you so much for all you do.

Decidedly not a doom, gloom, and beware of climate change type of talk…
This panel discussion is an attempt to generate excitement at Champlain College about the environmental movement and its potential for positive economic and social change.
It might convince us that the changes needed to counter global climate change, peak oil, and natural resource depletion are the kinds of changes that we want to make anyhow. Full of green jobs, economic opportunity, and bound to increase your quality of life.
Come learn what has made this group of environmental academics, entrepreneurs, business and community leaders an optimistic bunch.

Power Shift 2009
There are only two more spaces available to travel to Washington DC for Power Shift 2009. February 27 - March 2 will see over 10,000 students and young adults convirge on the national capital for a weekend of climate education and action.
